The tremendous Dave Green will wrap up the show with a preview of his new Edinburgh Show "Guest Bed"

Dave grew up with two beds in his bedroom and he never knew why. ‘Guest Bed’ is a comedy and storytelling show about what it is like to be a lone twin. The show follows Dave’s journey to reluctantly becoming a celebrity impersonator and the resulting chance encounter which forces him to confront his past. At times unsettling and often darkly amusing, ‘Guest Bed’ is a hilarious tale of mistaken identities and buried memories. ‘Keen eye for the absurd’ (TheWeeReview.com) Time Out’s One to Watch

Brand new stand up show from multi award winning Irish Iranian comedian Patrick Monahan.

Patrick was born in Ahvaz in Iran, with Persian, Arab & Irish roots.

His family travelled from the Middle East to the North East of England in 1980.

Always an outsider in every country or town he has lived, never actually fitting in like a local.

His family were poor working class and lived in a caravan for most of his early teenage years on the outskirts of Middlesbrough.

Always living an immigrant working class life. Eating rice every day, no alcohol, traditionally raised Iranian and they couldn’t afford any family holidays. The only time Patrick & his family went abroad was the once which was to the UK from Iran in 1980 and his family never left since.

Flash forward 2 decades and Patrick now has an upper middle class Partner. Her family holiday regularly and work in the high end Art world.

Laugh & cry at Patrick’s crazy, confused, fast changing life as he compares living as a poor working class immigrant in a caravan for most of his upbringing to this last year of his life living with his upper middle class girlfriend and skiing for the first time in his life, with millionaires and billionaires on a ski slope where he feels even more out of place. Will Patrick ever fit in anywhere or is he destined to be an outsider for ever.

He started from the bottom & now he’s here, where ever here is!

I, Tom Mayhew

Tom Mayhew (Leicester Mercury Comedian of the Year Nominee 2017, BBC Semi-Finalist 2018) was unemployed for 3 years from the age of 18. This is a story of rejections, the JobCentre, being working-class, and fighting for your place in the world. With lots of jokes.

The show explores what it is really like for someone living in their 20s in 2019. While some seem to think we have it all, the reality is that many of us can't afford to move out of our parent's place.

"His content is from the heart....spellbinding, raw and telling. He is a genuine joy to watch." - Kate Copstick

We Are Funny Dalston with Simon Brodkin

MC Alfie Noakes will run the show

The first half of the show ill be 10 x 5 minute open spots. The latter half of the show will be the mighty Simon Brodkin, with his new show, Let Me Introduce Myself.

You may know Simon as “comedy legend”1 Lee Nelson or as the “unfunny pillock”2 who gave Theresa May a P45, but you won’t know him as “tiny Jew”3 Simon Brodkin.

After three hugely successful series of Lee Nelson on the BBC, multiple TV appearances (Live at the Apollo, Sunday Night at The Palladium, C4’s Comedy Gala), and several world-famous stunts on the likes of Donald Trump, Kanye West & Sepp Blatter, Simon unveils his funniest persona yet; himself.

In this highly-anticipated ‘debut’ show, the award-winning, critically-acclaimed comedian takes us from his childhood growing up on the mean streets of Hampstead village, to his adulthood as a failed doctor, inept parent and fairly rubbish Jew.

“Satire so sharp you could slash a tyre with it” Daily Telegraph
